I will be taking some time away from blogging to enjoy the holidays with my family and friends. Lots of baking and last-minute things to take care of before Christmas. Hubby has to work Christmas Day, the Post Office is really busy right now. However my youngest who is a senior in High School will be home for about 2 weeks and is looking forward to helping me make fudge, cookies and other goodies. We will be doing our celebration the day before, but I’m thankful for the time we will have together as a family. Hope everyone in the garden blogasphere has a wonderful, happy and Merry Christmas. And I will see you all in the New Year. So from my family to yours hope you all eat, drink, and be merry and have a safe & happy holiday season.

I see you will have a white Christmas, too–that is, if it doesn’t all melt by the weekend. We have more snow in the forecast for Friday, so I’m hoping it doesn’t spoil our traditional Christmas Eve get-together with the kids.
Enjoy your final preparations for Christmas, Racquel. I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas!
Yep we had a white Christmas evening and it’s still lingering from that storm that blasted us with over 12″ of snow. I hope your holiday didn’t get spoiled by this yucky weather. Thanks Rose, hope you had a Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to you too Racquel. Hope you enjoy the time away and with your family. It’s something to be treasured for sure. I’ll “see” you in the New Year!
ps Your photo of the Nandina berries with the white snow is just beautiful. The colors are so Christmasy too.
Thanks Kathleen. We had a wonderful holiday and lots of goodies were baked and devoured. Now I didn’t enjoy this snowstorm and all the white stuff it dumped on my area however. Glad you like my Nandina covered with a dusting of snow. You should see them now…
