Forsythia is a beautiful shrub come spring! It was spring yesterday and now it’s winter again…gail
It does say Spring is here that’s for sure. We had the opposite, yesterday was winter & today was spring again. Weird weather in March. Once April gets here it should be more consistant.
We watched it go from bud to full bloom. Nothing says Spring better than the Forsythia. I’m south of you but ours are not as far along.
It’s always been my harbinger of the upcoming season Anna. How strange that mine is further along. I really think this corner is a microclimate onto itself.

Believe it or not, that is one bush I never had. And I absolutely adore yellow!
Brenda
If you adore yellow than you definitely need a Forsythia in your garden Brenda!

Wonderful!
It was 76 degrees at 7:00pm tonight! We dined outdoors for dinner. Tomorrow, winter returns for a few days.

Yep this yo-yo weather is pretty normal during March. I mowed the lawn today, haven’t done that in awhile.

How nice to see your forsythia blooming. You’re officially in the Spring Mode!
Thanks Shady! I think it is sure sign of spring indeed!

I love forsythia! It is the prettiest yellow of spring! They are so cheerful and they brighten up any spot in the garden. Yours looks beautiful!
Yep it really starts the spring season off with a nice pop of color. Thanks Cindee!

That’s a lovely yellow. I like that pile of wood too!
Thanks Kanak! I’m glad you liked my woodpile too.

What a beautiful bright spot in the corner of your yard Racquel. I don’t have forsythia in my current garden ~ look what I’m missing out on.
Thanks Kathleen. It does fill out this corner nicely.
You really need to get at least one, I’m leaning towards adding a white one too.
